 Custom linocut print. Printed on white Atelier muse cotton archival paper with a custom blue & black ink. The linocut block in the pictures is not included; used to show the carved linocut design. 

This print is unframed and is an open edition & signed with the carving year date. Every print is hand pressed so the color and the texture may vary slightly than the picture in the listing. 

What is linocut? 

Linocut is a relief technique in printmaking where carving tools are used to remove areas of the linoleum to create the design. After carving, I use professional printmaking ink to roll over the design. The areas that get inked are the sections that were not carved away. For the last step I use handmade paper and press the design which transfers it onto the paper.
